Naomi Fuks Is a contemporary artist applying her unique mixed media techniques over canvas combined with acrylics and chalk drawings.
Naomi began painting at the age of three. She later studied painting and drawing at the Avni Institute of Art and Design and photography and illustration at the Vital Center for Design Studies in Tel Aviv
In the first years after graduation, inspired by Gustav Klimt, she specialized in acrylic paints combined with colored pencils. She especially enjoyed working with human models, fascinated by the human body and its curves.
Since 2010 Naomi paints mixed media paintings. In the process, she draws an idea or uses an image, scan it to the computer and then work on it with Photoshop. The painting is then printed on canvas and painted with acrylic paints creating a unique, one of a kind, work of art.
Naomi’s paintings bring a broad spectrum of colors and insights with layers upon layers of transparent and gentle symbols and signs. The playfulness of lights and shades takes the viewer into an everlasting dream, challenging the border between reality and imagination.
Naomi’s unique art was presented in exhibitions all over the world.
