Creating works of art is a compelling life force. It encompasses passion, spontaneity, intellect and self-discovery. My art is not politically or culturally eye-opening. It is simply meant to appeal to the senses and heighten the human experience. 

Born in the USA in 1948, Carpenter is an award-winning artist currently working in the Baltimore-Washington, D.C. area. She has exhibited her art in galleries and museums in the United States, Europe and Asia, including renowned venues such as the Carousel du Louvre in Paris, France and the Uffizi Contemporary Museum in Florence, Italy. She continues her work with local art organizations such as the Baltimore Watercolor Society and the Maryland Federation of Arts.
